Special Event request for the MLK Charitable Corporation, Inc. annual "Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and “Activities” event. The parade will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., and the activities will be held at C.W. Thomas Park from 7:30 a.m. -6:00 p.m. The applicant is requesting road closures for the parade, and police presence at C.W. Thomas Park.
